Michaela & Steven | Wedding Photography | Auckland Rustic Vintage

On the shores of the southern most city of Africa, two people met. One from England, the other from New Zealand, both living and volunteering in Cape Town. With their shared passions and heart for their work, this couple soon developed a love that would cross the oceans.

{Across the ocean and back in New Zealand}

Michaela and Steven chose a country vintage theme for their wedding.  Micheala wore a gorgeous silk dress from South Africa, over set with a pretty vintage lace and pearl top.  Set of perfectly by pearl and diamanté earnings and country style bouquet of mixed flowers.

The ceremony was held at St Georges Church in Espom and was a moving and personal reflection of them as a couple and the faith they share.

In keeping with the country vintage theme, the bridal party had a picnic at Auckland's Cornwell Park which also was a perfect venue for photographs.  With an old shed, farm fences and old tress, it had all things rustic charm.

Michaela and Steven also had photographs by their waterfront reception venue of Tamaki Yacht club.  The reception was beautifully decorated with fairy lights, material flags, sweet vintage table settings and lollies. Each table was personalised featuring a photograph of Michaela and Steven at different locations across Cape Town.

With a stunning view of the sun setting over Auckland Harbour, the ocean, it seemed so fitting.
Just as two pepole across the ocean they met and fell in love, now as one their future calls, across many oceans far and wide.
